Does this look like the face of a MONSTER?
I know it might be hard to believe, but this sweet little face...those puppy dog eyes...those chubby cheeks...that bald head... is hiding a huge MONSTER!!
Seriously, all day long, Leah goes from doing one crazy thing to another. She NEVER stops!! She might go from getting into my mascara, to climbing on top of her changing table, taking off her diaper, wiping her bottom with 15 wipes, then getting off the changing table and pulling out 5 outfits and putting one on (without a diaper but she might throw on some underwear) to getting into the kids bathroom and dumping out the whole bottle of soap down the sink, to going downstairs and getting in the pantry and getting out the Cheerios and then pouring them in a bowl then spilling the rest of the box on the floor, to climbing up on the counter to get a cup and fill it up with water from the sink, to then spilling it all over the floor, to cleaning it up with the closest towel she can find, to getting into the fridge and getting an apple and taking 3 bites, to going to find a step stool so that she can reach my purse to get out a tube of lipstick (and not cheap stuff) and putting it all over her lips and cheeks, to running upstairs to sit on the toliet all by her self, then goes back in her room to change her outfit again......And this is all in 10 minutes time!!
(like when I am in the shower)
You might think I am exaggerating, but I am not. Ask anyone who has watched her. This is what my whole day is like, no joke!
Then you say...."Well, at least you can rest when she takes a nap..."
The follow pictures are how I find her during her nap time:
These pictures were taken 2 days in a row during nap time. She has climbed out of her crib and who knows where her pants are or diaper for that matter...Seriously, on top of the changing table....really?!!
Now I know some of you are thinking..."at least she is napping..."
Well, she doesn't do that much these days. When I put her down she will get out of her crib after 10 minutes or so and open her door just a crack sneak out and close her door. From there she will go into Travis's room and close the door behind her so I won't know she is there and quietly play. Seriously, a sneak at 27 months! You might recommend that I put those things on the door nobs so she can't open a door...they don't work with her.
I MIGHT NOT SURVIVE RAISING LEAH
HELP!!!!

Oh my gosh I am dying laughing at her sleeping on her changing table! That must not be very fun being pregnant and all! My tip: we had to take the doorknob off on the boys room and turn flip it around so i can lock them in. Mean- maybe, but they can't get out!
Hahaha... she does look so innocent! It looks like she doesn't like to keep her pants on... watch out with that!
Oh my gosh I was laughing aloud the whole time I was reading this! I am very sorry that she is such a sneaky little monster but she is oh so cute! Good luck!!! Let us know if you need to ship her off to Utah for a bit so you can recover :)
This is seriously too funny Jill - she really is making up for lost time :) I LOVE the pictures you got; they are classic!
Oh my goodness Jill, that is just crazy. I am just dieing looking at these pictures. You poor thing. At least there is never a dull moment with that adorable thing. Just wait, pretty soon you are going to have another one! Oh Jill, the whole sleeping in the changing table, it just is hilarious. What a smart little girl
Love it Jill! She is a crack up! Never a dull moment with that little Leah!
Hahahahhaha...I am sorry but her asleep like that make me laugh sooo hard...
oh no, what happened to my sweet leah? probably the same thing that happened to my sweet max...
oh jill! She is so dang cute!! I can't believe she can get out of her crib so easily! She is a smart one! You have your hands full...and the sneakiness....she is too smart!
HOw are you feeling...i mean besides being completely exhausted from chasing that girl around....
That changing table picture is a classic! What a great post. Maybe someday you'll be able to laugh about it too (instead of wanting to pull your hair out).
oh man jill! she is hilarious. i wish i had some advice, but mine is a wild one as well. (but now mine doesn't seem so wild after all) JK :)
what a crazy baby!!!! That's rough Jill. I really don't know what to tell you! All 3 of my girls NEVER even tried to climb out of their crib! Its kind of sad actually. But my SIL had to deal with this early on with her babies, so she used the crib tent, they get zipped in from the outside, so they can't unzip themselves. I am sure you will have tears for the first little while. But this little houdini of yours might actually figure out how to get out of the tent! I really feel for you.
I am cracking up at her sleeping on the changing table. We love Leah!!
That is awesome! I'm sure you are exhausted with all her silliness, but you are going to LOVE looking back at this time cause she is truly hilarious! I know, it's tough now and stressful, but she is just so cute!!!!!!!!
I watch her anytime all watch all of them just let me know what day and a time ill be there
